2015 begins its final march through the time zones. giving each one a final death rattle, a last fetid breath. Such as it was for you, be it fair or foul, wonder or waste try to show some sign of living, don't forget that the only fight you need fight is your own. Though it never hurts (usually) to stick up for the underdog the cat that time always wants to forget and leave behind. A serious mind does not need goals or resolutions, only eyes that see, hands that feel, a heart that touches. Your belly does not always need to be silent and full, but neither should you only live on caffeine and nicotine--who needs a burned heart?
Live your life as well as you're able and look to today not tomorrow for the good and the ill, supply life to the one and stomp the shit out of the other.
Be Well

I love the way everything you say is cliche free, even at this very cliched time of year!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have very little need of stomping out the ill this coming year!
Good advice and perspective -- hope the New Year brings you and yours all that is good, Mark!
ReplyDeleteThanks for reminding us to enjoy the present... Happy New Year, Walking Man!

Great march of words, Mark.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Happy New Year!
I stopped making resolutions a long time ago. You gotta roll with what life deals you as you go through a year. Your own plans take a back seat.
ReplyDeleteThank you, mark and happy 2016 to you!
ReplyDeleteWishing you the best and much strength in 2016.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Mark.

BE Well. And, continue to BE.... who you are.
ReplyDeleteMark-I can just hear you say those exact words. They are so pure as opposed to the flowery optimistic shit I usually read at this time of the year. Ummm, about that coffee and nicotine diet....xo
