TWO FLAMES ONE SHIP

JOURNEY WITH ME
I sometimes see myself as one flame of two forcing our senses hypersonic, high above the atmosphere of distrust and disgust speeding to oblivion, we’re easily forgotten without care. Racing to places unmet by hand or eye. We stand, I here in flight you there in unison and as one traveler stare at billions of light years passing watching clusters and lights stand still with us while the planet moves us. That what we see may not still exist but for the remnant of the light we are speeding towards. Do we care if there is nothing to find; nothing at the journeys end? For with a spin, a turn, a new thought will send us hypersonic again, racing off in search of the source of light less old, not yet extinguished. Journeys of the heart are always done hypersonic standing still as two aflame.

I wish my son and daughter in law a wonderful wedding anniversary, even though business has them 10,000 miles apart,

    1. Oh Grace you know sometimes the flame isn't as hot but still we find ways to go hypersonic, until they heat up again for less strain on the engines,

    1. Brian on their anniversary with a 2 week old baby, and Skype. I have the same hope but they are of that generation where nothing is more important than the digital connection of a smart phone. *shrug* They aren't children anymore.

  4. I was reading what someone was writing on here in the last couple of days about the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombs (on their 69th anniversary) and i had this really interesting thought that it would be great to get your opinion on, you know that Japanese geezer called Yukio Mishima (Paul Schrader made a film about him in 1985) who commited suicide in 1970 at the age of 45 in the traditional Japanese way by gutting himself after that unsuccessful attempt to overthrow the Japanese govern-girl-t, well i have this theory that what really made him do it was the fact that for the last 25 years of his life (from when he was 20 in 1945 to when he snuffed himself out at 45 in 1970) he was never able to deal with or accept the fact that in 1945 10 million Karate experts were still no match for 2 giant mushrooms ! ! !, would you agree ?.

    1. Not really. First because though his attempt at seppuku was because he failed to reinstate the divinity of the emperor, and second he failed, well he didn't fail, I am fairly certain he gutted himself but his original kaishakunin failed to take his head and a second kaishakunin had to step in and do the job correctly. Ergo the Samuri tradition though in play was not well executed.

You are a runner towards things steve, well you were before you killed yourself, artists run too but usually it is from a past, in this case his dual child hood that was totally at odds with each other. It is why poets lean towards suicide more than any other artist. We do not know how to change the past in order to make the world we write about appear.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Mishima's eyes happened, he could do nothing to right the wrong of the emperor in stopping it.

  5. A question: For over 100 years now Hollywood has been selling its product with sex without ever actually showing any sex, i just wondered if you had any theorys or ideas about how the hell they`re still getting away with that lie, that con, that hypocrisy, that appalling deception ?, especially in this day and age when The Real McCoy is freely available at the touch of a button on the internet with regards to millions of porn sites, why are people still going for all that anachronistic, out-moded, embarrassing, and obselete horse-shit thats still being produced by that abomination known as 'Hollywood'. Especially when you realise that virtually every film and TV show produced by Hollywood is an endless line of sexual inuendos, sexual situations, and references to body parts and bodily functions all done in that ludicrously idiotic and absurdly embarrassing nudge nudge, wink wink, grin grin, say-no-more, Monty Python, juvenile, Benny Hill, 'giggling behind the bike sheds' kind of way ! ?. Like i said why are peole still going for that laughable crap when theres so much hard-core porn freely available, i`d really like to know your opinion. Oh just one more current example just to make the point even more strongly: Do you really think anyone is going to go the see the latest "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie this week-end to see the turtles ! ? ! ?, NO, they`re going in the completely forlorn hope that Megan Fox is going to take all her clothes off and show her bum, twat, and tits (which they know isn`t going to happen in a PG-13 movie anyway). But like i said why are people still bothering to frustrate and tor-girl-t themselves in that way when there are literally millions of images of gorgeous naked birds on the internet (quite a high percentage of whom will be even more gorgeous that Megan ! ! !). Whats your opinion ?, over to you my good buddy.

    1. I assume Hollywood uses sex because it sells movies and the selling point is the hope of seeing Megan Fox(?) show some skin, tabloid skin. You do realize that just by asking the question you contribute to the tabloid culture. G movies sell too you know, make one and become rich and famous. I for one haven't been in a movie theater since 2001.

Teddy is absolutely right, "Gravity" for instance was just another ludicrously over-blown excuse to show Sandra Bullock in her underwear just because shes still a reasonably tasty bird at the age of 48, it was so mind-bogglingly pathetic and unbelievably embarrassing. They were actually trying to make the audience believe that Sandra was still only 24 ! ! !, what a laughable con it all is, thats why i only look at the porn on the internet now and dont bother with the out-moded lies and hypocrisy of Hollywood anymore, i just want access to the future now, i dont want to waste my time languishing in the past ever again.

    1. If you know what Gravity was, in its intent and purpose then you tell me, was the $15 worth seeing Sandra Bullock in granny panties? Did it titillate you?

You are obsessed with sex and nudity and that's as good an obsession as any for the OCD crowd. Don't like the movie don't pay the fee.

It would be much easier and less time consuming to keep switching between posts under different names. Strawberry Jam eh? do you like milk with your tea then?
