  5. The year before I stopped my regular job and this last year I was freelancing which really meant that I was free to starve as I didn't have any work for most of the year. Still, I had lots and lots of time for self improvement. In the midst of this, I moved, had my home repaired and renovated and moved again. A very nomadic year.

  6. Lana had a major problem with her back that kept her from getting around very well for nearly three months. And kept her in a lot of pain. That was probably the defining experience for us both this year

  8. 1. My second son was laid off from his new job as chef because of a sprained ankle. It turned out to be blessing because he found a better & more permanent job.
    2. My parents are healthy though both have heart problems.
    3. My husband is adjusting to his new job though he hates it.
    4. We went to Vancouver for summer and had a reunion with my hubby's family. My husband and I dream to retire there but everything is so expensive.

    Cool topic Mark ~

Hm. Crash. No Cirque de Soleil for me.
Ah well. Change of plan. Not sure of that's deviancy or, heh, refinement.

  10. Okay--what sucked was the death of Mom and Pop and my cousin. None were good deaths.
What is good is that I am still around, still married to a beautiful woman who is sober.
    Had a good garden.
Had a good year with sailing in spite of all the shit raining down in terms of sadness.
