  13. Detroit is a place that has so many nicknames and expectations hung on it that it is hard to separate out the truth from the bullshit. Thanks everyone for answering, some of the thoughts made it to the piece above. Just out of a sense of honesty, I really do not consider myself a good poet. Though you are correct in that there are many here, but they tend to take the more rah rah attitude as I lean towards what I witness with my eyes.
