Here is what I have learned from my post-chemo body ... and from your wise comments on my posts: listen to the wisdom of the body. Tired? rest in ways that restore and nurture. BE well.
THANK YOU all. During the period of doing nothing, thinking nothing, saying little, I did not find either rest or comfort. Time and situations change so slowly I am fairly assured that what remains of my life will move in the same direction at the same pace as it ever has.
I only hope to be able to prepare them who are my progeny in ways that allow them to adapt and cope in a darkening world.
Mark, you are not cut out to live like a monk. Everyone already said the best things about resting and recharging. Maybe some etouffe' will fix yer up!
Maybe a shake up in the old routine might help
ReplyDeleteThere is every reason to be tired but I hope you come through it
