    1. Grace I did use them in a poem, this one. Though I knew one must be at least my age to get the Marlon Brando - butter reference; it is readily available if Googled.

This is my response to the entire American political scene as it is currently playing out. The foolishness will eventually calm down but at what cost is the cooling?

  3. Last. Tango. in. Butter. If one must, make it "Kerry Gold" Irish butter . . .

    1. So, Erik, the Irish are actually good for something besides the current day economy of providing a tax dodge for the wealthiest corporations?

    1. Way back in the days before the internet, when film was a somewhat revered asylum Shadow, there was a movie Last Tango in Paris. The gist of it was a somewhat older man has an odd symbiotic sexual relationship with a very much younger woman.

In what at the time was considered a graphic scene of sexual violence (it still is today) Marlon Brando uses butter to anally rape Maria Schneider.

Today it is politicians, world leaders, business tycoons, them who purchase a voice, the vaunted 1% who take the weaker and use the butter in the most despicable ways.
