DISINFORMATION

INVEST IN TIN: PAUL BENNEWITZ
just because they say it’s so doesn’t mean they aren’t lying

The tin foil hat crowd
standing off to the side
of man’s known reality;
romps in euphoric spasms
at every lightning strike
that does not hit them.

Bimetal brain waves
construct an interesting
if not failed view of “hihu”—
that would be “huh” to you
says I or them or…
“huh?”

The antennas need to be
constructed a little higher
to catch the agency signals
transmitted to their shaved brains
resting underneath
all that scholarly hair.

“If I look like Einstein
then I must be him reincarnate”
–right, absolutely.
Ever and always a new conspiracy
to take the facts and twist them
to soul searing, mind numbing
conspiracy that circles logic.

The same way shit, like mind flushing
desert lights, swirls round and round.
Bellow out your truth man and see
there no other object than that
UFO lie planted in our mind
Our government wouldn’t lie.
Coming and going, would it?

  1. To Bennewitz or not to Bennewitz, that is the question, friend Mark ... working in mental health I learned to be mindful and respectful of my patient's perceptions cuz who am I to correct them just because I can't see. Love, cat.

    1. Cat the thing here though is what brought about Bennewitz's mental health break down. UFO research was a hobby for him that was exploited by the government as a way to silence him over how he was able to not only recieve but decipher encrypted messages. He had them spooked and the apparently retaliated.

  2. I sometimes fear that the government may have been telling me some mild fibs

    1. That's what happened to Bennewitz Charles something you or I may consider mild they escalated in his willing mind. It really was an interesting doc.

    1. Always jean--information is always suspect if it can not be verified by at least 2 independent sources.

  4. I believe nothing of what I hear or read, and little of what I see, OK ... Call me uninformed; but it leaves room for reality.

    1. Ya know goatman, this post is all about reality and what we have been told as opposed to what the records reflect.

In this case the big moment for UFO believers appears to have come as a government misinformation campaign aimed at Bennewitz because he had "hacked" secret radio transmissions.

They took his minor interest in UFO;s and blew it up to something of epic proportion in his mind. Eventually he had to be institutionalized. A beautiful mind.

    1. It is not a matter of bravery or cowardice Jodi, only one of making up your mind as to whom is telling you the truth.

  6. This is what happens to whistleblowers, Mark. They get snared in so many elaborate layers of disinformation and deceit they go insane or are made to appear insane (if not outright suicided), rendering everything they've ever said harmless. See Gary Webb among countless others. Meanwhile those trying to discredit them by saying they helped lied to everyone are believed at face value. It's a classic case. No wonder the world is in such pathetic shape. One must have a sense of humility and balance in this odd course of study; there are direct experiences I and many others have had that you simply couldn't process, and people who have given all their energies chasing down this ufology wormhole and would laugh at the diletantish ignorance if not obvious disinfo of the references you cite. I don't see the poetry in this: what's beautiful about a mind you can't accept?
