IF YOU NEED TO BORROW A 3.0 UBS CORD--THINK FIRST.

NEVER SCREAM IN SILENCE AGAIN unplug the quiet

There are certain moments in quiet days
where the noise stops;
not a birdsong
or
auto tire heard to ruin the interlude.

It has become more confusing to actually hear silence
than make the constant attempts to actually achieve quiet.
No one teaches anymore the equality of silence and peace.

That old rubric was thrown out when
them that tuned out and turned off
got wealthy by digitizing silence in the name of growth.

Now near every living soul is silently main framed;
Foolishly enclosed to think they could not ever connect
with quiet reality if they did not have a 3.0 plug.

I had decades ago found my love in silence,
analog quiet,
where there was no need for birdsong recordings
or
tires racing down weather cratered roads
to little set aside man made green spaces
filled with electric outlets to power up the ear buds
used today to block out the stunning silence from
the wonderfully beautifully quiet mind.

    1. I can live in solitude and quiet peace much easier if I remember to still the wonders, worries and fears that seem to want to constantly whisper in the silence Shadow. Be Well the journey was never promised to be fun or easy only that when it ends we'll get the answers to the unasked questions.

  3. Its interesting to note of course that for thousands of years the entire world was completely silent 24 hours a day, its only in the last 150 years that all this accursed noise has arrived.

Pity, i was really looking forward to reading your (potentially hilarious) replys to Jervaise's two brilliant com-girl-ts, instead you chose to be a killjoy and a spoilsport, shame on you.

    1. Old subject I already answered his transsexualism. He's fine he can wear whatever clothes make him feel whole. His masturbatory habits are his own to ponder and ruminate on, personally my only question is does he use lube or not.

    1. Dude that metaphor is so worn that it has gaping holes in the knees, and I am not that stylish to continue to revist and desire the retro. Sorry 'bout that. Ponder inn silence some, and it may strike you where the silence within the quiet exists.

  7. Silence holds us like a hammock suspended between the trees.

I like your meditation, Mark. Especially today. It's a good reminder to stop and let the disquiet drain from me.

    1. Sarah thank you, that is a wonderful image "the hammocks between the trees" For me it comes around 4 am, when all the city noise is silent, the birds are not awake and I can simply sit and exist in my silent mind.

  9. So you have a heterosexual transsexual lifestyle that allows you to orgasm when masturbating but only certain depicted fantasies (with the sound off) really allow you to get into it. That's cool, do you masturbate when in your lingerie dry or do you risk a gel stain? It's not that inquiring minds want to know but you have a need to express yourself here (why is beyond me, but who am I to question-which is why Ihave not bothered to back track your IP). Surely you must have realized at one point or another that porn in it;s (in your case) many silent hues has become passe simply through the profusion of the medium.

On another note, I tend to stay out of the bedrooms and sexual habits of others, so I don't get a laugh or angry about your blog bombing.

Do you ever practice being silent when you are quiet or are you simply led on by the need to be heard?

By the by why have i been chosen for the honor of your peculiar posts?

I think Jervaise Brooke Hamster is obviously one of those rare (and truly great) individuals who always feels compelled to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth with regards to absolutely everything (so help him Richard Dawkins), very admirable really when you think about it, after all its better than going along with all the lies and hypocrisy that everyone else seems so fond of ! ! !.

    1. Do you like coffee with your Croissant? Butter? Telling the truth is an admirable quality, first though one must decide the subjectivity or objectivity of truth. On is reality as it knows itself to be and the other is merely honest, which in itself is admirable as well but it is not necessarily truth,

How can porn be 'passe' if it represents the future for all of us ! ? (which it MOST CERTAINLY DOES believe me ! ! !).

My life has revolved wholly and exclusively around bizarre surrealism, hence my obsession with the ultimate truth and bestowing that ultimate truth onto everyone else. By the way, i chose this site because its obvious that you are a very intelligent individual but you do tend to sometimes wallow and revell in pretentious and artsy fartsy ludicrous nonsense, thats why i felt the need to tell you the truth about Hiroshima being Americas greatest hour. Its giant mushrooms that make the rules, not poetry ! ! !.

    1. You'll have to excuse me I tend toward the artsy fartsy type but more towards Dadaism than surrealism. But then there is the use of the verb pretentiousness, not that I agree nor disagree but in the definition if it is so subjective that i would need further explanation as to your own interpretation.

If porn, as used in normal sense of the word, is the future of all of us then I guess it would be easy enough to say we are all fucked,

Oh yes the ultimate truth. I know the ultimate truth but then there is no proof of ultimate truth until one passes through the doors that lead to the understanding of ultimate...glad that you have made your journey through lies and hypocrisy I for one am still separating the bull from the bullshit.

*shrug* You may preach here if you wish, the only thing is no more comments on or about friends I have known far longer than you ghosts, that some are not hard on the eye is irrelevant, what is the beauty of them is what they write as fellow artsy fartsy types that I have come over the course of years to care for and respect, if you can follow that one simple rule. I will leave the anonymous comments on. That is not pretension it is control, something which I choose to rarely exercise when it comes to what is placed in this section.

  14. The search for quiet is the search for peace, but even in the quietest physical space, a riotous mind disquiets the soul. It is not until we can find inner quiet that we feel the solace of silence.
