TRUE STORY
Less is more when less is love.
The light from the star above
is given as a map to understanding
that love is given without demanding.
Let your heart soar from your fears
take a break from troubles that always appear
in your joy bounded field of faith.
I met a man coming in from the desert
his son he had just finished burying in the dirt.
With breeze dried tears streaking the dust on his face
he told me he was not concerned.
Though his boy had been his joy he'd lost the race
he knew another father who’d also lost a son,
because of that, he too would see his again.

there is a subtle wisdom in this...we are not that much different and life is what it is...we might as well choose love....

ReplyDeleteMark, I had to read that first line 3 times and ponder it awhile. It still confuses me if I think about it too much. xo
