WHO WOULD HAVE FIGURED---GLAM MAN

MUSIC WAS BETTER WHEN IT HAD COMPANY
Ziggy was sailing beyond the atmosphere. Must be interesting being driven by solar winds, irradiated by plasma and gamma rays, the disorientation of not correctly navigating. Now I know why Starman was waiting in the sky—he was lost and all the glam kids were using the opportunity to blow their minds to find him.

Friday again! One of these weeks I will actually write one of these on Thursday (even though that seems like cheating) and link this 55 word Odyssey to ziGgy Man before mid-day Friday

Children of The Revolution Lyrics

Yeah
Well, you can bump and grind, it is good for your mind
Well, you can twist and shout, let it all hang out
But you won't fool the children of the revolution
No, you won't fool the children of the revolution, no no no
Well, you can tear a plane in the falling rain
I drive a Rolls Royce 'cause it's good for my voice
But you won't fool the children of the revolution
No, you won't fool the children of the revolution, no no no, yeah
But you won't fool the children of the revolution
No, you won't fool the children of the revolution
No, you won't fool the children of the revolution
No, you won't fool the children of the revolution, no way, yeah, wow

Songwriter
Marc Bolan

It is thought that Bowie was singing about Bolan in this piece.

  2. Funny, because the children of the revolution grew up and their children seem so easily and completely fooled.

  8. Perfect video of an iconic song by the awesomest of them all--my Main Man, so to speak. I vibe on your prose too, tho I think the starman held some distance because he was afraid of being sued in the voodoo courts by the wizard himself. If there was one artist today of Bolan's grandeur this world she might be saved. Look at the way he mocks the proceedings as the mind control they are without once breaking character as the dandy of total squalor, total decadence, total cool.

I'd daffinately like to hear your thesis on why Lady Stardust is Mr. Bolan, but I can't be greedy at such a gift of music and sight.
